GlobeHeal Wellness ("GlobeHeal", "we", "us", or "our") is a sole trader business operating in Ireland.
GlobeHeal provides mental health and wellbeing services and facilitates access to counselling and psychotherapy through a network of qualified independent counsellors and psychotherapists ("Therapists").
GlobeHeal's role may include receiving enquiries, discussing a client's general support requirements, facilitating an initial discovery call where appropriate, and presenting suitable Therapist options.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Therapists engaged through GlobeHeal are independent practitioners and are responsible for the professional counselling or psychotherapy services they provide to clients.
These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of the GlobeHeal website and to services provided by GlobeHeal.
By using our website, submitting an enquiry, requesting support or purchasing a service from GlobeHeal, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Where you enter into a separate agreement with a Therapist, that agreement may contain additional terms relating specifically to your counselling or psychotherapy sessions.
If there is any conflict between these Terms and a separate agreement relating specifically to the provision of professional therapy, the terms of that specific agreement will apply to the extent of the conflict.
We aim to ensure that information published on the GlobeHeal website is accurate and up to date.
However, website content is provided for general information and educational purposes and should not be treated as medical, psychological, psychiatric or therapeutic advice.
Mental-health information published by GlobeHeal is not intended to diagnose, treat or prevent any mental-health condition.
We may update, amend or remove website content when reasonably necessary.
GlobeHeal facilitates access to counselling and psychotherapy through qualified independent Therapists.
The availability of a particular Therapist is subject to their availability, professional suitability and other relevant factors.
Where appropriate, GlobeHeal may discuss your general requirements with you during a free, no-obligation discovery call and may provide you with options of Therapists who may be suitable based on the information you provide.
Providing Therapist options does not constitute a guarantee that a particular Therapist will be suitable or that a particular therapeutic outcome will be achieved.
The final decision regarding whether to proceed with a particular Therapist remains with you.
Therapists providing counselling or psychotherapy through GlobeHeal are independent professionals.
Each Therapist is responsible for:
GlobeHeal does not control the professional clinical judgement of an independent Therapist.
Where appropriate, GlobeHeal may verify information relating to a Therapist's qualifications, experience, professional membership or other credentials before presenting that Therapist as an option to a client.
Where offered, GlobeHeal may provide a free, no-obligation discovery call before counselling begins.
The purpose of the discovery call is to:
The discovery call is not a counselling, psychotherapy, psychiatric assessment, diagnosis or emergency service.
No therapeutic relationship is created merely by participating in a GlobeHeal discovery call.
GlobeHeal is not an emergency or crisis service.
The GlobeHeal website, enquiry forms, email communications and discovery calls should not be used where there is an immediate risk of harm to yourself or another person or where urgent medical or psychiatric assistance is required.
If you believe that you or another person is in immediate danger, contact the appropriate emergency or crisis service or attend an emergency department.
We cannot guarantee immediate responses to website enquiries, emails, messages or telephone calls.
You agree to provide information that is accurate and reasonably complete when submitting an enquiry or requesting services.
You should inform GlobeHeal or your Therapist of information that may be relevant to determining whether the requested service is appropriate.
You remain responsible for providing accurate information.
GlobeHeal and/or the relevant Therapist may determine that a particular service or Therapist is not appropriate for your circumstances.
GlobeHeal takes confidentiality and privacy seriously.
Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection legislation.
Where counselling or psychotherapy is provided by an independent Therapist, the Therapist's own professional confidentiality and data-protection obligations will also apply.
You should read our Privacy Policy before submitting personal information through our website.
Because information relating to mental health may constitute particularly sensitive personal data, GlobeHeal will process such information only in accordance with applicable data-protection requirements and for appropriate purposes.
The applicable fee for counselling or psychotherapy will be communicated to you before you commit to the relevant service.
Unless otherwise agreed:
GlobeHeal will not knowingly charge a consumer for a service that has not been agreed or provided, subject to applicable law.
Unless a different cancellation policy has been expressly agreed with you, GlobeHeal or the relevant Therapist requires at least 24 hours' notice for cancellation or rescheduling of an appointment.
Where less than 24 hours' notice is provided, or where an appointment is missed without notice, a cancellation or missed-appointment fee may apply only where this has been clearly communicated and agreed in advance.
Any cancellation fee will be reasonable and proportionate to the circumstances and will not affect any statutory rights you may have.
If GlobeHeal or a Therapist needs to cancel or reschedule an appointment, we will make reasonable efforts to provide appropriate notice and arrange an alternative appointment where possible.
Where a refund is applicable, it will be handled in accordance with the circumstances of the service, the agreed terms and applicable Irish consumer law.
Nothing in these Terms limits or removes any statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit, exclude or override your statutory rights under Irish or EU consumer-protection legislation.
GlobeHeal will provide services with reasonable care and skill and in accordance with applicable consumer law.
Irish consumer law requires businesses to use fair, transparent and understandable contract terms.
If you have a concern about a service, please contact GlobeHeal first so that we can attempt to resolve the issue.
Counselling and psychotherapy are individual processes and outcomes vary between individuals.
GlobeHeal and its independent Therapists do not guarantee:
Therapeutic decisions remain the responsibility of the relevant qualified Therapist.
We retain your personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes outlined in this policy or as required by law.
Where GlobeHeal provides Therapist options, these are based on information available to GlobeHeal at the time and are intended to assist you in making an informed choice.
A Therapist option is not a guarantee of therapeutic compatibility.
You are free to ask questions and decide whether you wish to proceed with a particular Therapist.
If you feel that a Therapist is not suitable for you, you should communicate this to the Therapist and/or GlobeHeal so that alternative options can be considered where reasonably possible.
The GlobeHeal website may contain links to third-party websites, platforms or services.
GlobeHeal is not responsible for the content, availability, security or privacy practices of third-party websites or services.
Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
Unless otherwise stated, the content of the GlobeHeal website, including its text, branding, graphics, logos, videos and original materials, belongs to GlobeHeal or is used with appropriate permission.
You may access and use the website for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You must not reproduce, distribute, modify, sell or commercially exploit GlobeHeal content without prior written permission, except where permitted by law.

Where a significant change affects an existing contractual relationship, we will provide appropriate notice where required.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.
Any dispute will be dealt with in accordance with applicable Irish law and
subject to any mandatory rights or protections available to consumers under
applicable Irish or EU law.
